Road Safety Closing Ceremony Ganjam
Road Safety week with the theme ‘Sadak Surakhya – Parivar Rakhya’ was observed from 1st Jan across Odisha, including Ganjam district. Chief Guest SP, Berhampur felicitated best traffic police officers and all RTO staff during the closing ceremony on 7th Jan. He also provided knowledge regarding traffic rules to students.

Chatrapur Mahotsav
Mahotsav was a spectacular celebration of culture, tradition, and unity. Held in the heart of Chatrapur, this 3-day festival showcased the rich tapestry of local heritage. A unique feature of the Chatrapur Mahotsav was the Pallishree Mela, which turned the spotlight on local artisans and craftsmen. Stalls adorned with handloom textiles, terracotta pottery, traditional jewelry, and other handicrafts offered a glimpse into the skilled craftsmanship.

Chhattisgarh Film Festival
The screening and prize distribution ceremony of the National Road Safety Short Film Festival, Chhattisgarh, were held on 24th Jan at Raipur. 44 short films, shortlisted from a total of 460 entries received in 6 languages from 19 states across the country, were screened. This initiative was a part of public awareness educational programs related to road safety.

Bhadrak (In- Stream Storage Structure Project)
19 in-stream storage structure projects in 13 districts of Odisha were inaugurated on 20th Jan 2024. These projects are aimed at providing drinking water and supporting fishery, animal husbandry, etc. The projects have been taken up under the 5T initiative and will also help in increasing ground water level.

5T Chairman Visit Event
Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha, Shri Kartik Pandian visited Bhadrak district on 24th Feb 2024. He reviewed the progress of Baitarani Projects. During his visit, he interacted with the public and made them aware of some major decisions taken by the Hon’ble CM Shri Naveen Patnaik.

Bhadrak 5t School Inauguration
Bhadrak Zilla high school received the distinction of being the 60th in the state to complete 5T high school transformation in the 4th phase. The school now has smart classrooms, STEM-focused curriculum, increased sports facilities and much more. The inauguration took place on 29th Jan.

Akshyara Event
The first edition of 'Biswa Odia Bhasa Sammilani' was held at Bhubaneswar from 3rd-5th Feb. Several activities, games and an exhibition were held to showcase the vibrant Odia language and culture. Odia language experts from across the globe attended the meeting.

Genres successfully organised the inauguration of 5 teaching hospitals associated with 5 medical colleges at Balasore, Baripada, Balangir, Keonjhar and Sundargarh, adding 3000 more beds. Genres successfully organised the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new model jail at Jamujhari, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, yesterday. The new jail will be completely automated and will provide better living conditions to the inmates, along with access to healthcare and educational resources.
A big thanks to Team Genres for going that extra mile to ensure that the event was a success.
